Germany imports approximately 5 million tons of pulp annually, with Chile being a major supplier.
Individual paper consumption in Germany is nearly 250 kg per year, which is five times higher than the global average.
The 90-minute documentary report (in German or Spanish) below, features the participation of various communities affected by the forestry business, as well as the voices of major companies in the industry. The production is the work of German filmmakers Heiko Thiele and Sherin Abu Chouka, with the collaboration of the digital platform resumen.cl.

La producción de origen chileno-alemán se estrenó recientemente de forma gratuita en youtube.
